PREL understands the passion and dedication service providers bring to their work. Too often, they are distracted and frustrated by compliance requirements necessary to operate a nonprofit corporation. Requirements associated with particular grants, contracts, or donors can also be discouraging. With the new recommendations associated with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, service providers must increasingly focus their time and efforts on management and compliance, instead of service. PREL can help you maintain your service-related focus by providing management assistance to your nonprofit or federally- or state-funded program.

PREL has over 10 years of exemplary experience in compliance and management, particularly with federal programs and grants. We employ three certified public accountants and have an experienced human resources staff to help with financial transactions, contract preparation, employee issues, and compliance reporting. The cost of these services is approximately 20% of award amounts, which is considerably less than the cost to establish and maintain a board of directors, finance department, and human resources staff. PREL may also be able to provide space for smaller programs, as required.
