Enhancing community well-being through partnerships in education
PREL endeavors to help all students reach their full potential. Since 1990, PREL and its well-qualified staff have provided educators at the state, district, and school levels with technical assistance and high-quality research-based professional development and classroom strategies focused on the improvement of teaching and learning for all students, particularly Pacific Islanders and English language learners (ELLs). Critical to this approach is our region-wide network of educators and community-based service centers. We offer a variety of professional development services for teachers, both in person and using innovative distance education technologies
PREL provides expertise in all areas of education, as well as in project management and product development. PREL provides education resources, technical assistance, and training for and about the Pacific community and beyond.
Also, PREL understands the requirements set forth by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). Our school improvement, professional development, assessment, and research and evaluation services align with these requirements and can be customized to meet the needs of individual clients.
All of our services can be tailored to meet the needs of our client’s personnel and organization. You may select the time frame, location, delivery format, and content. Our expert staff has the experience and resources to help you meet your goals.
PREL content experts can deliver services in various formats to meet our clients’ unique needs. You may select from one or a combination of the following:
PREL can collaborate with institutions of higher education to provide credit for in-depth workshops. For an additional fee, courses 15 hours in length and longer are eligible for undergraduate or graduate university credit. In addition, PREL can collaborate with your state education agency (SEA) to provide continuing education units.
