Enhancing community well-being through partnerships in education
Published twice a year, PREL's magazine, Pacific Educator, contains articles focusing on classroom best practices, and includes PREL program updates from throughout the Pacific. The magazine’s audience is made up largely of teachers and educational administrators. We emphasize educational issues and topics that relate to the Pacific region, but we also publish articles related to other parts of the world. The links take you to the table of contents where you may view or download individual articles.

We are pleased to share highlights from the presenters of the 2011 Pacific Educational Conference in Pohnpei. These highlights are overflowing with useful and practical teaching tools and strategies for teachers and educational professionals. Some of the topics include Pacific climate change education, Short Assessments for Literacy (SAL), Hawaiian stories in Pohnpei, as well as, wikis in the Pacific classroom, and online educational gaming.
