This NCELA website provides information on issues relating to the education of linguistically and culturally diverse (LCD) students in the U.S., as well as links to exemplary practices for and research on educating LCD students. newsline/index.htm). NCELA was formerly known as NCBE, the National Clearinghouse for Bilingual Education.
