| South Pacific Academy, nestled in tropical America Samoa, is the home of Maria Hanson's 6th grade art class. This project is an integration of art, science, and technology. Students were learning about the scientific process and thoroughly discussed the four parts involved: observation, hypothesis, experiment, and results. They found images that represented each step, remembering to include the "art" in their photography. Later, using their images to write expressively, they created a word board and wrote about the scientific method. Click on the links below to take a look at the students' work. |
