Shriveling slowly as the blazing sun strikes upon the plant of a rock. Struggling like a prisoner to escape the wrath of the scorching heat, its weakened leaves reaches up through the surface of the earth to sip the miniscule drops of water. Fighting for survival to see another day!

We see rainfall so low during our hot summer months with searing temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees or more. Our water reservoirs and irrigation systems can be seen below the normal levels, thus demanding mandatory water restrictions around the island. Many plants are seen deteriorating causing our land to lose its lush green vegetation.

While natural beauty is found through the abundance of green foliage and colorful flowers, we wait in anticipation for the perfect weather conditions.
