Senior Affiliate Program

The Senior Affiliate program allows PREL to draw on the expertise of educational professionals who provide services to PREL in various specialty areas. Senior Affiliates are a resource for specific tasks and are employed on a contractual basis as needed.

Eligibility

Senior Affiliate program applicants should have a demonstrated background in one or more areas: research, curriculum/program development, teaching, distance learning, reading, educational administration, or a related field applicable to PREL's mission and programs of work.

Application Process

To apply to be a Senior Affiliate, candidates need to submit two documents to Ms. Kim Gould, PREL's Director of Human Resources:

  1. Their curriculum vitae or resume
  2. A cover letter detailing two primary areas of expertise, how their skills apply to PREL and its programs, and information about their availability to work and travel regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Selection Process

Senior Affiliates are selected based upon their background and skills, and PREL's need for expertise in the particular specialty areas. Once chosen, an applicant is notified in writing of selection and added to the Senior Affiliate list on the PREL website.
