PREL Named a "BestPlace to Work in Hawai'i 2009"
For the second year PREL has again been named one of the Best Places to Work in Hawai'i. According to Hawai'i Business magazine, "The Best Places to Work in Hawai'i" is a partnership with the Best Companies Group of Harrisburg, Pa. BCG is an independent work-place excellence research firm and partners with local publications and organizations to create similar lists across the U.S.
Employees play the major role (75%) in the assessment portion of the survey. It consists of employees' confidential answers to questions on: leadership and planning; corporate culture and communications; relationship with supervisor(s); training and development; pay and benefits; and overall engagement and satisfaction.
25% of the assessment portion of the survey consists of 84 questions for the employer on pay and benefits, policies and practices.
BCG's work-place experts analyze the information and determine the list. This year, 74 companies completed the survey and 59 were named Best Places to Work. PREL is proud to be among this prestigious group of companies.
