Ruta Tauiliili-MahukaSpecialist Ms. Ruta Tauiliili-Mahuka is a Specialist serving as the PREL liaison to American Samoa. She manages the American Samoa Service Center and provides support services to PREL programs that have included the American Samoa Revised Standards Project, the Strategic Collaborations for Information Literacy (SCIL) Project, and most recently, the Pacific Islands Climate Change Education Partnership (PCEP).
Prior to joining PREL, Mrs. Tauiliili-Mahuka served as a Literacy Specialist to the Gear Up program at the American Samoa Community College and Program Manager at the Pacific Islands Center for Educational Development (PiCED). She developed and taught college preparatory and leadership courses for after school and summer programs, as well as programs to promote parent involvement for the ASPIRC program, which is administered by PiCED. |
