Senior Assessment Specialist

Ms. Josephine Jones-Lizama is a Senior Assessment Specialist at PREL. She provides technical assistance to education departments throughout the Pacific region in the design and implementation of assessment systems for content areas and ESL. Additionally, she provides professional development services in instructional pedagogy for literacy and ESL.

Ms. Jones-Lizama has worked in the field of education for the past 15 years. Her academic background is in early childhood and elementary education, as well as in English as a second language (ESL). Her professional experience includes service as a native language teacher, early childhood teacher, reading and ESL district coordinator for kindergarten through 6th grade, professional development provider of instructional pedagogy, and facilitator for curriculum and assessment design and implementation.
