Evelyn JosephDirector, RMI PIRC Ms. Evelyn Joseph joined PREL in 1999 and currently serves as the Director for the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Parent Information and Resource Center (PIRC). In this position, she directs and coordinates the Early Childhood Education program with Women United Together in the Marshall Islands (WUTMI), and school improvement initiatives of the Cluster Model throughout various schools. Prior to her work with PIRC, Ms. Joseph worked for the RMI Ministry of Education in a variety of capacities, including secondary school social studies teacher, family life curriculum specialist, field supervisor, and teacher training director. She started her education career in 1975, and has years of experience in elementary and early childhood education, school improvement, and community issues relating to parental involvement. |
