Eric Walts

Senior Specialist

Mr. Eric Walts, a Senior Specialist at PREL, currently serves as the Information Technology Manager. He is responsible for managing and consulting on all IT-related projects, as well as the administration of PREL’s multiplatform network, which spans the 10 entities of our Pacific service region. Mr. Walts leverages his strong background in open source technologies to reduce costs.

Mr. Walts has more than 15 years of experience working in the field of technology, with a strong focus in network and information security. His responsibilities have included PC troubleshooting and repair, network design, implementation and administration, web development, and database design and administration. Within his career, he has worked on small, medium, and nationwide telecommunications networks and earned certifications in several areas, such as Cisco, Microsoft, and Linux.
